The CVC uniform is worn on duty when directed by the commander. It is not authorized for travel or for wear off military installations, except in transit between an individualâs quarters and duty station. (See para 2â6c for exceptions to this policy.) These uniforms are not intended for wear as all-purpose uniforms when other uniforms are more appropriate.
