a. Material composition. Fabric is 100 percent ripstop cotton (old fabric blend), or a 50/50 nylon and cotton ripstop poplin (new fabric blend).
b. Uniform composition.
(1) Beret (para 3â2b(1)).
(2) Cap, patrol (formerly BDU) (para 3â2b(2)).
(3) Coat, cold weather, camouflage pattern (para 3â2a(1)).
(4) Coat, maternity, woodland camouflage pattern. A single-breasted coat style design with a collar, two patch
pockets with flaps, a straight-cut bottom, sleeve tabs, and pleated side-body panels with take-up tabs.
(5) Trousers, maternity, woodland camouflage pattern. The trousers have a front stretch panel with an elasticized
waistband and side pockets, with flaps on both legs.
c. Accessories. The following accessories are normally worn with this uniform.
(1) Boots, combat, leather, black (para 27â3).
(2) Chaplainâs apparel (para 27â7)
(3) Coat, black all weather (para 27â8). (See para 4â5d for wear policy.)
(4) Gloves, black, leather shell, with inserts (para 27â12a).
(5) Handbags.
(a) Black, clutch type, optional purchase (para 27â13a).
(b) Black, shoulder (para 27â13d).
(6) Hat, drill sergeant (para 27â14a).
(7) Military Police accessories (para 27â16).
(8) Neckgaiter (para 27â17).
(9) Scarves.
(a) Black (with black overcoat only) (para 27â21a).
(b) Olive-green 208 (para 27â21b).
(10) Socks, black, cushion sole (para 27â24a).
(11) Undergarments (para 27â28).
(12) Undershirt, brown (para 27â28e).
(13) Organizational clothing and equipment, as determined by the commander, according to CTA 50â900.
(14) Personal hydration systems, as determined by the commander.
d. Classification. The maternity work uniform is an organizationally issued utility and field uniform. The beret is an
organizational issue item. DA Pam 710â2â1 governs turn-in and reissue of the beret.
