Quick Answer
Cummerbunds are optional purchase items in black silk or satin with four or five pleats, worn pleats facing down. Female Soldiers wear the black cummerbund with blue and white mess/evening mess uniforms. Male Soldiers wear it with white and blue mess uniforms. A white version is available for the female all-white mess uniform.
